MUSIC: Tonight, we are honored to have The Mr. Q Band back at the winery playing songs like Sentimental Journey, Don’t Get Around Much Anymore, Bye Bye Blackbird, Ain’t Misbehaving, Fever, Route 66, & Summertime.
FOOD: Sahara Kebab Food Truck will be at the winery this evening providing kebabs and shawarma. Please support this local business and do not bring outside food.
Come to a wine tasting like no other; be prepared for a beautiful experience. No prior knowledge needed, just a desire to try some divine wines. You will be treated to a flight of 5 Great Bear Vineyards wines while relaxing in our beautiful gardens. Knowledgeable Great Bear wine educators pour the wines at your table, where they are happy to impart the history of our winery and answer any questions you may have on the wine or winemaking process, while leading you through the tasting.
Following your tasting, you are welcome to sit and relax until we close, enjoying your favorite wine by the bottle or glass. Snacks and cheeses are available for purchase.
Your reservation is valid for the day of booking, and we welcome you to join us any time between 5-8pm; please arrive by 7pm for the full tasting experience as we close at 8pm.
About the property:
The first thing you will see on arrival once you have parked on the driveway is the organic vineyard with wildflowers, jackrabbits, and birds. Stroll up the driveway taking in the atmosphere towards the enchanting Spanish colonial façade. The road curves to the right where you will see the tasting areas - The Dance Hall and The Great Barn - with options to sit at tables undercover or on the lawn. Your wine educator will be happy to provide additional information about the property during the tasting.
Please note:
- Gratuity for your wine educator is not included in the price of your ticket. If you enjoy your experience while at the winery, we recommend a tip of $3/member of your party to go towards your wine educator.
- No outside food is permitted, except:
- For celebrations, guests may bring a cake.
- Picnics are allowed for WINE CLUB members.
- Large groups & parties can bring their own food/picnic by prior arrangement – please email greatbearvineyards@gmail.com
- Our property is smoke and vape free.
- Only service animals are allowed. Sorry, no pets.
- No outside alcohol is permitted.
- To help cut down plastic waste, we encourage you to bring your own reusable water bottle
- Please leave your glass on your table at the end of your tasting – souvenir glasses are available for purchase at $10 each
